The Shower & Faucet Bundle

Cleaner water where you wash, not where you drink.

The Shower & Faucet Filter Bundle pairs two GoodFor 8-Stage Shower Filters with two 5-Stage Faucet Filters to reduce chlorine and sediment at the fixtures you use most — enough to outfit a two-bathroom home.

It's built for the water you wash with: your skin, hair, hands, and face. Drinking water is a different job, and an honest one — that's what a reverse osmosis system is for. We'll point you there rather than oversell a carbon filter.

What's in the box

Four filters, two bathrooms covered

Two shower filters and two faucet filters — enough to outfit a two-bath home. Each installs in under two minutes with no tools and no plumber, and comes off the same way when you move.

GoodFor 8-Stage Shower Filter
Included · 8-Stage Shower Filter ×2

For the chlorine your skin and hair feel

Installs between the shower arm and your existing shower head. Its eight media layers reduce free chlorine and sediment as water passes through.

  • KDF-55 reduces free chlorine and heavy metals, and inhibits bacterial growth inside the filter housing
  • Activated carbon & calcium sulfite further reduce chlorine and odor
  • Tourmaline, maifan stone & negative-ion ceramics add trace minerals
  • PP cotton screens out sediment

Straight talk: reduces free chlorine, not chloramine. It doesn't soften water and it isn't NSF certified. For whole-home chloramine or hardness, that's a whole-home system.

GoodFor 5-Stage Faucet Filter
Included · 5-Stage Faucet Filter ×2

For washing — face, hands, and teeth

Twists straight onto a standard threaded faucet aerator (adapters included). Five media layers reduce chlorine and sediment from the water you rinse with.

  • PP cotton screens out sediment, rust, and sand
  • Granular & block activated carbon reduce chlorine, odor, and off-tastes
  • Ion-exchange resin provides limited heavy-metal and scale reduction
  • Final PP cotton polishes the water before it reaches your hands

Straight talk: this is a washing filter — we won't tell you to drink from it. It isn't certified for lead, PFAS, or fluoride, and isn't a substitute for an RO drinking-water system.

The honest version

A carbon filter improves the water you
wash with. It doesn't make it drinking water.

“We won't tell you to drink from it.”

This bundle does one thing well: it cuts the chlorine and sediment at your showers and bathroom sinks, so the water feels better on your skin and smells cleaner in the room. That's a real, noticeable upgrade for renters and first-time filter owners.

What it isn't is a drinking-water solution. If clean, contaminant-reduced drinking water is what you're after, the right tool is reverse osmosis — and we'd rather route you there than let a faucet filter overpromise.

Why people add it

What you'll actually notice

No medical claims here — only the everyday differences customers most often report after reducing chlorine at the tap.

Softer-feeling skin & hair

Chlorine can strip the natural oils from skin and hair. With less of it in your shower water, many people notice less tightness and dryness.

Less chlorine smell

That chemical-pool note in a hot shower fades, so the bathroom smells cleaner and the air feels less harsh.

Two-minute, tool-free install

Twist each filter on and walk away. No tools, no plumber, no permanent changes — it moves with you when you move.

An honest first step

A low-pressure way to start improving your water today. When you're ready for the full picture, the AI Water Concierge can map the rest.

Filtered water at home
Setup

Twist it on. That's the whole job.

No tools, no fittings, no calling anyone. Both filters thread onto hardware you already have.

  • 1

    Shower: unscrew your shower head

Hand-loosen the head from the shower arm coming out of the wall.

  • 2

Thread the shower filter in between

Screw the filter onto the arm, then screw your shower head back onto the filter.

  • 3

Faucet: remove the aerator, add an adapter

Unscrew the aerator from your bathroom faucet, pick the matching adapter, and twist the faucet filter on.

Renting? Nothing here is permanent. No drilling, no landlord permission, no plumbing changes — every filter comes off cleanly when you go. Note: the faucet filters fit standard threaded aerators, not pull-down or pull-out kitchen sprayers.

Good to know

Questions, answered honestly

What's included in the Shower & Faucet Filter Bundle?
The bundle includes two GoodFor 8-Stage Shower Filters and two 5-Stage Faucet Filters, along with the faucet adapters needed to fit most standard threaded aerators — enough to outfit a two-bathroom home. The shower filters are available in a Chrome or Matte Black finish. Every piece installs by hand in under two minutes with no tools and no plumber.
Can I drink the water from the faucet filter?
No — the 5-Stage Faucet Filter is designed for washing, such as your face, hands, and teeth. It reduces chlorine and sediment and improves how the water smells, but it is not certified to remove lead, PFAS, fluoride, or other drinking-water contaminants. For clean drinking water, a reverse osmosis system like the MicroMax RO line is the right tool, with certified reductions across a broad range of contaminants.
Does the shower filter remove chloramine?
No. The 8-Stage Shower Filter reduces free chlorine but does not have verified chloramine reduction. Many municipal utilities treat water with chloramine rather than free chlorine. If chloramine is your concern, a whole-home system such as the Hydronex C or FiltraMax C is the appropriate solution — start with a free water consultation.
Will this soften my hard water?
No. Neither filter removes hardness minerals, so this bundle will not soften hard water or stop limescale. Water softening is a whole-home job handled at the point where water enters your house. If hard water is the issue you're solving, a whole-home softening and filtration system matched to your water is the right path.
Are these filters NSF certified?
No. Neither the 8-Stage Shower Filter nor the 5-Stage Faucet Filter carries NSF/ANSI certification. Their performance is based on established KDF-55, activated carbon, and ion-exchange media rather than independent NSF testing. For NSF-certified contaminant reduction, GoodFor's RO and whole-home systems carry product-specific certifications — for example, the MicroMax 8500 is certified to NSF/ANSI 53 and 58 for drinking water.
How often do I replace the cartridges?
Replace each shower filter cartridge every 3 to 6 months, and each faucet filter cartridge every 2 to 3 months, under normal household use. Higher chlorine or sediment levels shorten cartridge life. A good sign it's time: the chlorine smell returns, or water flow noticeably slows. Subscribe & Save keeps the shower cartridges arriving on schedule.
Will the faucet filter fit my faucet?
It fits most standard bathroom and kitchen faucets that have a threaded aerator at the tip, and includes adapters for common male and female thread sizes. It does not fit pull-down or pull-out kitchen sprayer faucets, or faucets without a standard threaded aerator. The shower filters fit standard shower arms universally.
Can I use this if I rent?
Yes — this bundle is built for renters. Every filter installs by hand with no tools, no drilling, and no permanent changes to the plumbing, and they remove cleanly when you move. No landlord permission is needed. For a fuller renter setup including under-sink drinking water without drilling, see apartment & renter solutions.
