What the GoodFor air filter replacement is.
The GoodFor Air Filter Replacement is the True HEPA and activated-carbon filter cartridge that restores your GoodFor Anti-Virus Air Filtration System to full 99.97% particle capture. It is made specifically for that unit — it is not a universal filter, and it is sized to seat correctly so air flows through the media instead of around it.
A filter only works while it is clean. As it loads up with the pollen, dust, dander, and smoke it has pulled out of your air, it captures less and makes the fan work harder. Swapping it on schedule is what keeps the air quality — and the machine itself — performing the way it did on day one.

When to replace your air filter.
Replace the GoodFor air filter about every six months with regular daily use, or up to every twelve months if you run the unit only occasionally. Air quality, pets, smoke, and how many hours a day it runs all move that window — so it's worth knowing the signs as well as the schedule.

Power down
Turn the unit off and unplug it before opening the housing.
Remove the old filter
Open the filter housing — usually the base or back panel — and lift out the spent cartridge.
Seat the new one
Place the fresh filter, close the housing, and plug back in. If your unit tracks filter life, reset the indicator.
