What the GoodFor air filter replacement is.
The GoodFor Air Filter Replacement is the True HEPA and activated-carbon filter cartridge that restores your GoodFor Anti-Virus Air Filtration System to full 99.97% particle capture. It is made specifically for that unit — it is not a universal filter, and it is sized to seat correctly so air flows through the media instead of around it.
A filter only works while it is clean. As it loads up with the pollen, dust, dander, and smoke it has pulled out of your air, it captures less and makes the fan work harder. Swapping it on schedule is what keeps the air quality — and the machine itself — performing the way it did on day one.

When to replace your air filter.
Replace the GoodFor air filter about every six months with regular daily use, or up to every twelve months if you run the unit only occasionally. Air quality, pets, smoke, and how many hours a day it runs all move that window — so it's worth knowing the signs as well as the schedule.
- Airflow feels weaker on the same mode and fan speed
- Odors linger instead of clearing the way they used to
- The air-quality sensor stays elevated longer before settling
- The filter looks gray or discolored compared to a fresh one
A loaded filter doesn't only clean less — it forces the fan to pull harder to move air through it. Staying on schedule protects both your air and the life of the unit.
What a fresh filter brings back.
A new filter returns the unit to 99.97% capture of fine particles and full activated-carbon capacity for odors, smoke, and VOCs. Over months of use, the HEPA layer fills with trapped particles and the carbon gradually saturates — at which point the unit is still running, but doing less with every pass. A replacement resets both jobs at once: particle capture and odor adsorption.
Because the GoodFor system uses mechanical filtration with no ozone or chemical byproducts, the only maintenance it asks of you is this swap. Keep it on schedule and the unit quietly does the rest.
Never breathe through a spent filter.
Subscribe & Save sends a fresh filter on your replacement schedule automatically, at a lower price than buying one at a time — so the unit never runs past its prime and you never have to remember a date.
Lower price
Subscription pricing comes in below the one-time cost on every refill.
On your schedule
Delivered around your replacement window, six or twelve months apart.
Skip or cancel anytime
Adjust timing or stop whenever you like — no commitment locked in.
Changing the filter takes about a minute.
No tools required. The filter sits inside the unit and lifts straight out, so a swap is quick enough to do the day your replacement arrives.
Power down
Turn the unit off and unplug it before opening the housing.
Remove the old filter
Open the filter housing — usually the base or back panel — and lift out the spent cartridge.
Seat the new one
Place the fresh filter, close the housing, and plug back in. If your unit tracks filter life, reset the indicator.
