UMH Pure
What the UMH Pure does
The UMH Pure is a passive in-line device that sits between your filter and your faucet. Water enters a gold-plated brass chamber and is put through a controlled vortex, past handcrafted borosilicate glass vials. The vials never touch the water. Nothing is added and nothing is taken out. What changes is how the water moves.
It is not a filter and it is not certified as one. It reduces no chlorine, lead or PFAS. Reverse osmosis does that, and it has to happen first. The UMH Pure is what goes last, once the water is already clean and the minerals are already back.
Where it goes under your sink
In-line on the cold line between your reverse osmosis system and the faucet. If you run a remineralization filter such as the Sango Coral, the order is RO, then the mineral cartridge, then the UMH Pure, then the tap. Structuring is always the final step.
It works with any reverse osmosis system, not only ours. If you already own an RO of another brand, this is the piece that finishes it.
Water that moves the way spring water moves.
Structured water draws more hype than almost anything else in this category, and most of it does the idea no favors. Here is how we actually think about it.
A stream never runs in a straight line. It spirals over every rock and drop on its way down, and a spring is water that has been through thousands of those turns. A pipe pushes water straight, under pressure, for miles. Putting the spiral back in the last few feet before the glass is not a strange idea. It is the ordinary one. Water moving through a vortex behaves differently from water moving in a straight line, and that is the only mechanism a structuring device relies on.
Taste, first and most often: that it tastes like spring water instead of nothing, and that it is noticeably different to drink. Structuring has become the part of the Hydration Stack people mention first when they call back, which is why it has never come out of the Stack. That is what customers report, in their words, and we pass it on as exactly that.
Whether the change lasts long enough, and matters enough, to affect the person drinking the water. Research suggests the mechanism is real. The studies are small and most are in animals, so no health outcome is established and we will not claim one. We would rather say that plainly here than have you find it out later.
That is also why we sell structuring as the last step and never the first. On water that is already filtered and remineralized, it is doing the one thing it is for.

This one is for you if
You already have reverse osmosis and want the third step
You own an RO from another brand and want to add structuring to it
You want something with no filter to change and nothing to plug in

No NSF/ANSI certification, because this is a structuring device and not a filtration device. It reduces no contaminants.
Buy the three steps together instead.
The UMH Pure on its own assumes your water is already filtered and remineralized. If it is not, the Hydration Stack is the same device plus the two stages that come before it: WQA Gold Seal certified reverse osmosis and the Sango Coral mineral filter.
Is this a filter?
No. It reduces no contaminants and carries no NSF/ANSI certification, because it is not a filtration device. If your water needs cleaning, use a filter or a reverse osmosis system first and structure afterwards.
Is structured water scientifically proven?
The mechanism is established fluid dynamics: water moving through a vortex behaves differently from water pushed in a straight line. Whether that difference produces a measurable health outcome in the person drinking it is still being studied, and the research that exists is small and largely in animals. We will not tell you it is settled, because it is not.
Do I need to filter before I structure?
For the result most people are after, yes. The order is filter, then put the minerals back if you are on reverse osmosis, then structure. A structuring device will work on unfiltered city water, but it will not make that water clean.
Does it work with an RO from another brand?
Yes. The UMH Pure is not brand-specific and installs in-line after any reverse osmosis system. If you already own an RO, this and a remineralization filter give you the same three stages as the Hydration Stack.
What is the difference between this and the Hydration Stack?
The UMH Pure is the structuring unit on its own. The Stack is that same unit plus the two stages before it: WQA Gold Seal certified reverse osmosis and the Sango Coral mineral filter. If you already have those two, buy the Pure.
Is there anything to replace?
No. There is no filter, no cartridge and no power supply. Once it is installed there is nothing to maintain.
What is the warranty?
Five years, covering manufacturing defects. The same on every UMH device.
Where is it made?
Hand-built in Austria, in 24 karat gold-plated lead-free brass, and TÜV EU certified. That certification covers how the device is built, not a performance claim about the water.
Clean water first. Then this.
If your water is already filtered, the UMH Pure is the last thing between the pipe and the glass. If it is not, start with the filter: the Hydration Stack is reverse osmosis, minerals and this same structuring stage in one system.
